About Me

I qualified in Women’s light clothing manufacture in the 70's and after gaining experience in theatre, films and television costumes went on to Haute Couture and high end fashion houses in London selling in prestige stores like Selfridges and Harrods.

During the 80's I had my own shop in Reading in the UK called Creatively Yours.

I specialised in custom, made-to-measure garments some of which made appearances at Royal garden parties, film premiers and London society fuctions.

Since moving to Spain I have found my passion
for fashion again and specialise in providing
quality, stylish garments that are comfortable
and easy to wear; from beach to bar to party to
dining-out. I am enjoying sharing my expertise
and experience with people from this region
and beyond.

appointment at my home in Triana near Velez Malaga.

I work out of my studio (The Taylor Maid Parlour) at home while also doing a regular weekly artisan market which is invaluable for the feed-back from my clients and a great showcase for my craft.

I don't cook much nor do I paint or do wood-carvings!
I make frocks and I love doing it here in sunny Spain
with all its idiosyncrasies, customs and life-style. I
also love to make people smile when they put on
something that not only fits them but suits both their
personality and their pocket. Style doesn't need to cost
the earth!
